What is it made from?
This salve has two parts with different ingredients.
The drawing salve (dark moon) is made from the following plant materials:
Calendula officinalis (Calendula)
Symphytum officinale (Comfrey)
Verbasscum thapus (Mullein)
Plantago major (Plantain)
Essential Oil of Lavandula x intermedia ‘Grosso’ (Lavender)
The muscle rub salve (Red sun) is made from the following plant materials:
Hypericum perforatum (St. John’s Wort)
Capsicum anuum (Cayenne)
How much do I take?
Rub your finger in the salve and smooth it over the desired area as needed. With the muscle rub, a little goes a long way!
What else is in the product?
We use plant material we grow here in the Glitter Witch Gardens, as well as beeswax and certified organic, cold-pressed, Mediterranean blend Olive Oil. For the dark moon side, there is also Benonite Clay and Activated Charcoal.
Are there any use cautions?
Keep out of reach of children.
**NOTE** – This product contains CAYENNE PEPPER. Once applied, keep the area out of the sun or the cayenne will heat up and really hurt!
We recommend that you consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using herbal products, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or on any medications. Product ingredients are absorbed into the body through your skin.
How should I store my product?
We recommend you store your tin out of direct sunlight and away from heat. Because of the oil and beeswax base, your salve will be good at room temperature below 80° F.
